Feltsmith
These terms are between you and JJENGINEERING SPECIALISTS LIMITED (company number 16153913), who make Feltsmith ("we", "us"). By using Feltsmith you agree to them. Apple's and Google's store terms also apply to downloading the app and buying subscriptions.
What Feltsmith is
Feltsmith is a poker training game. You play hands and answer questions against computer opponents, and the app scores and explains your decisions. It is for learning and entertainment only. It is not gambling, and it is not financial or gambling advice.
Play credits, not money
- Credits, XP, levels and titles in Feltsmith are earned by playing. They have no money value, can't be bought, sold, traded, transferred or exchanged for cash, and are never paid out.
- There are no prizes of any kind.
- We may rebalance how credits and rewards are earned, for example to keep the game fair.
Who can use Feltsmith
You must be 18 or over to use Feltsmith. The app asks you to confirm this the first time you open it.
For study, not a real table
You must not use Feltsmith, or anything it shows you, while you are playing poker or any other game for real money, including online. Feltsmith doesn't promise that you will win at poker. Real-money poker carries the risk of losing money, and how you play it is your own decision. If gambling is affecting you, free help is available from GamCare and BeGambleAware.
Your licence
We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use Feltsmith on devices you own or control, under the store's usage rules. Please don't copy, resell or reverse engineer the app, or use it unlawfully.
Feltsmith Pro+
- Pro+ is an auto-renewing subscription, monthly or yearly, at the price shown in the app before you buy. New subscribers may get a free trial; if you don't cancel at least 24 hours before it ends, the subscription starts and you're charged.
- Payment is taken by Apple (or Google) when you confirm the purchase, and the subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Manage or cancel any time in your Apple ID settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions) or in Google Play. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Pro+ stays on until the end of the period you've paid for.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
- If we change the price, the store tells you first and you can cancel before it applies.
Your progress
Your progress stays on your phone (see our privacy policy). That also means we can't recover it for you if it's lost, for example if you delete the app.
Changes and availability
We update Feltsmith. We may change or remove features, but we won't take away something you've paid for during a paid period without a fair reason. We aim to keep the app working but can't promise it will always be available or free of errors.
Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms limits your legal rights as a consumer, or our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit. Otherwise, because Feltsmith is a training game and not advice, we aren't responsible for decisions you make based on it, including any money you win or lose playing elsewhere, or for losses that weren't reasonably foreseeable. If we are found responsible for a loss, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Feltsmith in the 12 months before the claim.
Ending these terms
You can stop using Feltsmith at any time by deleting it (and cancelling any subscription). We may end your licence if you seriously break these terms.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you can also bring proceedings there.
